NewsMarch 2010CSI's Adult Division was awarded a contract by Santa Barbara County to establish two state parolee Day Reporting Centers in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria California for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. This program model provides a community-based alternative to incarceration for parole clients. The program uses Motivational Interviewing techniques and a curricula-driven, evidence-based model designed to assess the needs of each client to reduce individual risk factors. Participants work closely with case managers and employment specialists to develop individual goals and make positive changes in their lives. |
