NewsOctober 2011Santa Barbara and Santa Maria Day Reporting Centers Expand to Include Probation Clients CSI has been awarded a contract to provide Day Reporting Center (DRC) services to Santa Barbara County Probation (SBCP) clients at its current DRC locations in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria, CA. A direct result of recent legislation which realigns certain responsibilities for lower level offenders from state to local jurisdictions, CSI will provide SBCP up to thirty client slots at each location. Services will include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) groups, employment services, limited transportation assistance, and referrals to community providers. CSI was also awarded a separate contract to provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to clients at the Santa Barbara County Probation Report and Resource Centers. CSI looks forward to collaborating with Santa Barbara County Probation to work with offenders in smarter and cost-effective ways. |
