NewsOctober 2011Another Successful Day of Caring Rain did not deter volunteers from United Healthcare from participating in CSI's 2011 Day of Caring at the Drapelick/Berman Treatment Center in Bloomfield, CT. Over fifty clients and staff from all of CSI's Hartford facilities enjoyed a day of recreation and employment assistance. Volunteers advised clients on job searches, resumes, interviewing techniques and other aspects of securing employment. Lunch was provided by CSI and gave everyone the opportunity to get to know one another. Then it was onto a fun afternoon of basketball, volleyball, badminton, bocce, music, and board games. Program Director Derek Harrison and Senior Area Director Aileen O'Brien acknowledged that CSI's 2011 Day of Caring was a wonderful day for all. |
