New Mothers at Hartford House Receive Donations


In a recent interview with a client in CSI's Mothers and Infants Nurturing Together (MINT) program at Hartford House, it became apparent that many of the mothers in the program struggle to provide basic necessities for their newborns. So CSI, in collaboration with Central Connecticut State University, organized a Labor Day Diaper Drive. Donations were collected over a two-week period totaling over 2700 diapers and 4000 wipes along with other items including lotion, shampoo, and clothes.

Program Director, Uduak Nguessan, acknowledged that the items will be a huge help to MINT clients staying at Hartford House.
