The Watkinson Prisoners Aid Society Awards Grant to Renovating Dining Area

CSI was recently awarded $5,250 from the Watkinson Prisoners' Aid Society to renovate the dining area at Watkinson House located in Hartford, CT. CSI will match the award with funds from another foundation or proceeds from the annual charity golf tournament.

Watkinson House is a reentry program for adult male clients referred from the Connecticut Department of Corrections (DOC) and the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).

These renovations will provide these men with an area to sit and enjoy their meals and snacks with each other as well as their visiting families and children. This area will also provide a well needed common area for clients who would prefer a more quiet area than the TV room to perhaps write or read, play games, or visit with their families.
